Turmeric is a member of the ginger family, and a spice extracted from the root of the Curcuma longa plant. It has been used in its native India for thousands of years as a medicinal herb. A growing body of research is uncovering the full potential of turmeric, which is now regarded as a superfood. It’s also believed to improve cognitive function. This product does not contain black pepper for people unable to tolerate it. To help with absorption of the Curcumin, take with a meal containing some fat.
